OUR SERVICES
Professional counselling tailored to you.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties or simply feel that something isn't quite right, I'm here to provide a safe, supportive space to help you move forward.

FINDING THE RIGHT SUPPORT
Everyone's experience is different.
Counselling isn't about fitting people into categories. The headings on this page are a useful way to find your way around, but they're descriptions rather than diagnoses — and most people who come to us don't arrive with a tidy label for what they're carrying.
In practice these things overlap far more than they separate. Anxiety and low mood often travel together. Burnout can look like depression from the outside. Grief sometimes surfaces as irritability or a loss of confidence rather than sadness. A difficulty in a relationship might be the thing you notice first, even when something else sits underneath it.
So there's no need to work out exactly what's going on before getting in touch. Plenty of people begin with something quite vague — that life feels harder than it should at the moment, or that they don't quite feel like themselves. That's a perfectly good place to start.
If you're unsure which kind of support fits, that's partly what the free consultation is for. We'll talk through what's been happening, what you'd like to be different, and where it makes sense to begin. Sometimes that turns out to be exactly what you expected. Often it's something adjacent — and it's far more useful to have found that out together than to have guessed at it on your own.
Nothing is fixed once you start, either. As sessions go on the focus often shifts, and we'll adjust with it.
WHAT WE SUPPORT
Areas we work with.
Each area below has its own page explaining how we approach it, what sessions tend to involve and what you can expect.
Anxiety
Racing thoughts, constant worry, physical tension or a sense of dread that won't settle. We work on understanding what keeps anxiety going and building practical ways to manage it.

Depression & Low Mood
Flatness, exhaustion, losing interest in things that once mattered. Counselling offers space to make sense of it without having to put on a brave face.
LEARN MORE →
Stress & Burnout
When work or caring responsibilities have worn you down to the point where rest no longer restores you. We look at what's sustainable and what needs to change.
LEARN MORE →
Bereavement & Grief
Loss doesn't follow a schedule, and there is no correct way to grieve. A steady place to talk about the person you've lost, for as long as you need it.

Relationship Counselling
Difficulties with a partner, family member, friend or colleague. Whether you come alone or together, the aim is to understand the pattern rather than assign blame.

Self-Esteem & Confidence
A harsh inner voice, difficulty saying no, or a long-held sense of not being quite good enough. We look at where that came from and what it's costing you now.

THE PROCESS
How counselling works.
Whichever area you come to us with, the shape of the work tends to follow the same three stages.
Getting to know you
The first sessions are about understanding what's brought you here and what life looks like at the moment. There's no pressure to cover everything at once, and nothing you have to prepare beforehand.
Working together
As trust builds, we begin to look more closely at the patterns underneath — where they came from, what keeps them in place, and how they show up day to day. This is where most of the change happens.
Moving forward
Towards the end we consolidate what's shifted and think about how you'll carry it with you. Some people finish here; others keep occasional sessions going. Both are entirely normal.
